The Knights of Columbus established the Blessed Michael McGivney Pilgrimage Center on Nov. 1, 2020, with the intent to advance the vision of its founder Blessed Michael McGivney (1852-1890).
The Knights of Columbus, the fraternal organization this New Haven, Conn., priest established on the principles of unity, charity and fraternity more than a century ago remains a strong influence in the lives of millions of its members, inviting them to be missionary disciples after Father McGivney’s example.
The Pilgrimage Center is the new manifestation of the Knights of Columbus Museum, Inc. established in 1982 as a nonprofit institution serving the general public through exhibitions of history, art, and faith. The center will continue that mission by serving as an archive for the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council and maintaining a permanent gallery showcasing the organization's history, as well as its focus on Father McGivney.
The Knights of Columbus is one of the world’s leading fraternal and service organizations with 2 million members in more than 16,000 parish-based councils.
